1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using AFTERMAD ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.
2. User Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
3. Coins and Payments
AFTERMAD uses a virtual currency system ("coins") to unlock premium content. Coins are purchased with real money and have no cash value. All coin purchases are final and non-refundable unless required by applicable law. Coin packages and prices are subject to change.
4. Content and Copyright
All content on AFTERMAD, including novels, webtoons, images, and other materials, is protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit permission from the copyright holder. Writers retain ownership of their original content.
5. Writer Terms
Writers who publish content on AFTERMAD agree to grant us a non-exclusive license to display and distribute their content on our platform. Writer revenue from chapter unlocks is distributed according to AFTERMAD's current platform revenue split, which is shown in the Writer Earnings dashboard. Earnings are paid out manually upon request, subject to a minimum threshold.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: use the service for any unlawful purpose; upload content that infringes intellectual property rights; harass, abuse, or harm other users; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service; use automated tools to scrape or download content.
7. Content Moderation
AFTERMAD reserves the right to remove any content that violates these terms or our content guidelines, and to suspend or terminate accounts that engage in prohibited conduct, without prior notice.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AFTERMAD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or prominent notice on the platform. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
